A Taste of Sunshine – a light hearted, hands on, and delicious cookery workshop offering unpaid adult carers the opportunity to take time for themselves, enjoy a creative activity, and develop their skills.
What the session includes:
- Tasty dishes: Gazpacho, a selection of seasonal salads, dressings and dips such as spiced cauliflower pachandar, quinoa tabouleh, roast aubergine babaganoush, and salsa romesco. With some freshly made flatbreads for dipping!
- Practical skills: A chance to practise a range of different cookery skills, gain time-saving tips, and have confidence-building support to help participants recreate the recipes at home.
- Relaxation & connection: A warm and welcoming space to meet other carers, share experiences, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of cooking together.
- Take-Home goodies: Participants will leave with a freshly made dishes, recipes, and the know-how to cook them again with ease.
The workshop is designed to be stress-free, light hearted, social and good fun.
Please note that this workshop is for registered unpaid adult carers from East Sussex. However, we have a small number of discretionary places for parent carers on application.
