Join Robin Van Creveld for this cookery workshop exploring the delectable world of spices and aromatic ingredients. We’ll make a feast of South Asian inspired dishes including massala chai with potato stuffed flatbreads, chutney and raita. Vegetable kofta in a creamy spiced gravey with channa masala and cumin rice. Desserts will be mango ice cram
Cooking for Carers workshops
These sessions are for unpaid adult carers living in East Sussex and are designed to be practical, social and good fun. You can expect:
- Tasty food – participants will help make delicious and healthy food and sit down to lunch together during the workshop.
- A great learning opportunity – a chance to practise a range of cookery skills, gain time-saving tips, and have confidence-building support to help recreate the recipes at home.
- Relaxation and connection – a warm and welcoming space to meet other carers, share experiences, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of cooking together.
- Take home goodies – participants will leave with a freshly made dishes, recipes, and the know-how to cook them again with ease.
Please note that this workshop is for registered unpaid adult carers from East Sussex. However, we have a small number of discretionary places for parent carers on application.

The workshops are 3 hours long and the £5 booking fee includes all ingredients, tuition, recipes and aprons.
