Human beings have always cooked and eaten together communally.
In a world where food has become increasingly transactional and moneterised, we are delighted to be able to host a free feast that will bring people from diverse cultures together to share food and in so doing, to encourage cohesive and healthy communities.
We will be serving a sumptuous feeast prepared by cooks from across the globe who now live locally. The menu will feature dishes from Gambia, South Africa, Brazil, Ukraine and Syria. The feast will be vegetarian and gluten free and vegan options will be available.
We are asking for a donation of £5 per place, but this is at your discretion. If you would like a free place please contact office@communitychef.org.uk for a voucher code
In addition to this wonderful celebration of multicultural food and culture, we are also hosting an evening concert with amazing world music, headlined by Gambian Kora superstar Ansumana Susso. You can book your tickets here: https://shorturl.at/BgAHX
