Gujarati Thali – Thursday 24 May 2018

In this workshop we will create a traditional Gujarati thali and explore the unique and delectable cuisine of India’s western most state.

We will make:

Dhokla, a fermented savoury rice sponge cake served with peanut chutney

Kadhi, a gram flour and yoghurt soup

Bharela baingan, baby aubergines stuffed with peanut masala

Bhinda nu shaak, a dry and fiery okra curry

Bajra na Rotla, millet flatbread

Chaas, spiced buttermilk

This workshop is suitable for  beginners and enthusiasts and is vegetarian and gluten free.
